Latest Coronavirus Policy (Last Updated 01/09/2021)
Over the last few weeks we have been making a conscious effort to follow the developing coverage and government guidelines concerning COVID-19, otherwise known as Coronavirus. Therefore, we are well aware of how unprecedented this situation is, not to mention the challenges that it will keep posing to businesses in the coming months, so we thought now would be an appropriate time to share the updated contingencies that we have put in place to minimise disruption and ensure continuity of our service and support to you, our customers. These precautionary steps fall into five key areas; Hosted Infrastructure, Remote Working Capability, Meeting Precautions, Increased Demand and Ongoing Support, which we will cover in full below:
1. Hosted Infrastructure
The first point we would like to make you aware of is that our system is hosted off-site in a secure facility, which already has stringent contingencies in place for situations such as this, ensuring that our core services will continue to operate effectively, regardless of whether we are physically in the office or not.
2. Remote Working Capability
Fortunately, thanks to our hosted infrastructure we can always make use of our remote working capability, as and when we need to, in the coming weeks and months. This means that our team will always be in a position to help our customers, regardless of whether they are working from home or in the office. o-a-sys has therefore made the decision to move our operations to working from home to place us in the best position to serve our customers uninterrupted.
3. Meeting Precautions
As a matter of precaution, we will also be taking a number of steps to keep our staff safe during the pandemic, so moving forward we have taken the decision to utilise the latest technology and complete all work remotely. Until further notice, we will encourage our employees to avoid attending events, networking or customer sites, unless it is critical and then only with prior arrangement on a case by case basis so we can ensure that we adhere to social distancing and any required safety measures in place.
4. Increased Demand
We anticipate that there will be a higher demand for our service, due to increased customer staff absenteeism and resulting in unexpected job roles. Despite this we are as committed as ever to upholding our award-winning customer service and will prioritise issues based on urgency. Please remain patient and rest assured your call will be dealt with at the first available opportunity.
5. Ongoing Support
Operational Accounting Systems contact details remain unchanged and we urge our customers to request support as follows:
By Email : [email protected] (Preferred)
By Phone : 01233 812050 (Option 1)
We hope that this information has been helpful to you and it reassures you that no matter what happens in the next few months Operational Accounting Systems will continue to be there for you. If there should be any further changes to the policy above in the coming weeks we will be sure to get in touch as soon as possible with an update. In the meantime, we wish you good health and all the best.
